At New City Brewery, our mission is to celebrate tradition and inspire community through our unique craft brews. From our signature ginger beer to an array of ales and lagers, we bring to life less common brews in a refreshing, unique style. Within the inviting ambiance of our historic mill building, we offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere that bridges the past and the present. Our Story
Founded in 2013 in Easthampton, Mass., by three longtime friends and an award-winning brewer, New City Brewery is dedicated to crafting fine ales and lagers with a focus on pre-prohibition style alcoholic ginger beer. Named after a historic neighborhood in a New England mill town, New City is devoted to revitalization, our community, and the finest hand-crafted beer.
In 2015, we repurposed and reconstructed a space in the abandoned mill building that houses our brewery for a brand new tasting room. Open to the public 7 days a week for tastings and tours, we seek to brew a wide variety of craft beers while educating our community on the history of hard ginger beer.
Our Beers
With a focus on good ingredients and simple processes, all New City beers are made without additives and crafted to reflect the hard work of the farmers and the brewers. We source the highest quality ingredients from small producers dedicated to growing and harvesting fresh ginger. We make an effort to source hops and grain from the abundance of farms that surround us, and always take care to use only the finest ingredients. All of our beers are brewed and packaged onsite at our facility.
