Watchfire is an Irish-American rock band blending traditional Irish instrumentation with a modern rock edge. Featuring group vocals, flutes and whistles, electric guitar, and saxophone, the band delivers a high-energy, contemporary sound while remaining firmly rooted in the Irish folk tradition.
 

Formed in a Boston College dorm room in 2013, Watchfire emerged from the Boston pub scene and has since toured throughout the Northeast, the Midwest, and Ireland.

We partner with public schools, counselors, and regional arts organizations to provide youth with access to real training, state-of-the-art equipment, and teaching artists who believe in their brilliance.

Every young person deserves the tools to build a vision for their future, develop their voice, and gain skills that open real economic opportunity.

We will be hosting an assorted group of local artisans and business owners .

Conor Churchill was born and raised in Tallahassee has been songwriting for about ten years. His music can be best described as introspective folk. He takes you along on a journey through his life with the songs that he shares. His sweeping melody’s, powerful storytelling and thoughtful words captivates any audience/listening room he finds himself in. His first full length album Brand New Branches was released in March 2025. Streaming everywhere you listen to music. He is currently working on his next record will be coming out in 2026. He was recently part of  the Eddies attic Biannual open mic shootout.

Mighty Ploughboys are one of those bands that make you want to be Irish!  A five-piece rock powerhouse out of Connecticut that blends a classic rock style with hints of traditional Irish music to create an eclectic style that could be classified in its own genre. The Mighty Ploughboys will challenge the way you think of Irish or Celtic rock bands.

Throughout the course of their musical union, the members of Mighty Ploughboys have won over the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life. Performing at a variety of venues and making countless public appearances all the while recording new song versions, this talented Rock Band has earned the admiration and affection of critics and fans alike.

These are step-by-step guided painting class taught by professional artist and educator Erin Leigh Boughamer. Every class is an art lesson with different techniques and tips you won’t get from most regular paint and sip classes. Having 30 years experience as a professional artist, and 25+ years experience as an educator, Erin is an expert at explaining how to paint using her style of simple and easy to understand methods.

Translate Gender is a trans-led, consensus-run non-profit organization supporting trans, nonbinary, and gender expansive community members to find our power and autonomy.

Beau Sasser has been a staple artist in the live music scene for decades. Sasser started his career with his original project Uncle Sammy before moving on to tour as a sideman with the late great Melvin Sparks, Alan Evans Trio, and Ryan Montbleau just to name a few. He is currently in the progressive funk/fusion band, Kung Fu, and working with his own band, The Escape Plan. The Beau Sasser Trio is yet another outlet for Beau to pay tribute to the classic organ trio sound with soul classics in the boogaloo and acid jazz stylings.

To round out the trio Beau features a couple of musicians very prominent in the Northeast live music scene: Justin Henricks on guitar and Bill Carbone on drums. Both artists, similar to Beau, are involved in several other touring outfits, for Justin, his main gig is in the Albany-based funk & soul outfit Wurliday. Bill has been a core member of the legendary jam band, Max Creek, for several years as well. Justin, well-styled in the boogaloo tradition takes inspiration from jazz guitar giants such as Grant Green and Wes Montgomery while adding a sound all his own. Bill, a deeply studied drummer in the jazz and funk idioms has a certain undeniable and exciting recklessness to his drumming reminiscent of Terry Bozzio in the Frank Zappa era.

Americana with a classic country flair, Christa Joy and the Honeybees are a local favorite here in the valley. The band includes Lisa Marie Ellingsen (lead guitar), Tim Bowles (pedal steel), Jason Smith (drums) and Tom LeBeau (bass). The songwriter’s recent collection recorded with the band, Christa Joy and the Honeybees, paints a versatile picture of the group’s talents—ranging from kitschy humorous gems like “God Gave Me Two Babies” and “Omens,” to emotional ballads like “Time and Luck” and the sparser indie flavor of “Again and Again.” 

Joy is known for her strong sense of melody, resonant storytelling, and charming sincerity. She has played at many notable New England venues, including the Parlor Room, the Iron Horse and Club Passim. She has opened for some of her heroines, including Lucy Wainwright Roche, Meg Hutchinson, The Sweetback Sisters, Loudon Wainwright III, and Antje Duvekot. Perhaps more importantly, she is a Mom of three and a Forest Kindergarten Teacher in Western Massachusetts. You can follow her more closely on Substack and IG as Momsongwriter.
